Freedom, love and truth form the foundation of an authentic relationship with our Creator.  He is the Lord, our God. He wants to be close to us, like a good father, who loves his children.  He walks with us and guides us.  As we journey through life, in union with God, our life purpose is revealed and made manifest.  
God’s love and the truth are synonymous.  They are not separate.  One needs the other to grow and be authentic.  Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein) Philosopher, Discalced Carmelites Nun, and Martyr  says to us all: “Do not accept anything as the truth if it lacks love.  And do not  accept anything as love that lacks truth”
